How is Bangsar Shopping Centre located against the Central Market in Kuala Lumpur? Can it be reached on foot?
If I need to take a cab how many minutes is the ride and how much is the fare? What interesting Stores/Shops can I find in the Central Market?
Is there any other restaurant in Bangsar Shopping Centre aside form American Chili’s Grill and Bar?
How is Bukit Bintang located against the Petronas Twin Towers? Is it a walking distance? If not, how many minutes is the distance travel?

Bangsar Shopping Center is about 20min by Taxi (depending on Traffic) and is not really worth going to. You can go to Bangsar Village, where you have a lot of restaurants and bars …a great spot for going out.
Bukit Bintang is within walking distance from the Twin Towers and you will find a lot of bars and restaurants. There is also a street where you find some of the best hawker food in Kuala Lumpur (perfectly safe!!!) .. the street is called Jalan Alohr.
do not think too much of walking in KL city
the traffic are not really designed friendly to pedestrian or specially outsider
the only thing u can find interesting in the central market is it is really a wet market with one floor only in the past
KL population use to buy foods there with a half partition wall
dividing the muslim food and non muslim food
KL is not exactly pedestrian friendly if you know what I mean, lol=P There’re lack of proper walkways for those who wish to travel on foot unlike other countries.
So making a trip to Bangsar on foot is not exactly advisable.
The traffic is a killer in this city as well… by cab, the ride could be 30 minutes not sure ’bout fare though *sorry*
Central Market are mostly souvenir items i.e. T-shirts, mugs, etc. Not much choices in dining at Bangsar Shopping Centre but there’re more further down at the Bangsar Shopping Village.
As for Bukit Bintang it’ll take you ’bout 15-20 minutes on foot. ‘Gain your options are better by car/ cab.
I had walk to many places in KL downtown area and it is not really dat bad. if u cannot survive in here, u will die in minutes in africa. Jus dun compare KL wif those ultra modern cities.
walkin to twin towers from bt bintang is not dat near, and the weather is hot and humid too. why not take the monorail, alight at bt nanas station, from there it is a 800m walk to twin tower and u are less likely to get lost from there too.
